Image and video generation tools don't replace direction. They speed up the execution of a vision that has to exist beforehand.
The designer's work is shifting more and more toward curation and judgment: knowing what to ask for, recognizing what is wrong and having enough visual repertoire to notice when a result is merely beautiful rather than right.
