Spectrum — Dana Al Fardan

Indigo is the fourth album by Qatari composer Dana Al Fardan, conceived as an audiovisual experience in which each track corresponds to a colour, a state of mind, and a video of its own.

Commissioned by a London-based production company, I created the video for "Spectrum" as part of the collection of videos accompanying the album's release. The challenge was to build a contemplative piece, slow-paced and immersive, that would support the music without competing with it. It also had to stand on its own while staying consistent with the visual language of the whole series.

The result is a visual meditation on light and colour, inviting the viewer to slow down and sink into the music.
